I have a standard 12g295 head i am going to run a gt1549 turbo.

It depends on the chamber size, and what compression ratio and boost etc you are going to run. |

assuming a chamber size of 28cc, then the flat tops give a little over 9:1 CR. The 6cc dish takes this down to 8.5.

Thanks for the reply, I am aiming for around 130 hp with the potential for more. So do you think the dished pistons will be a better choice in the long run? |

for 130 bhp you'll need 12 to 15 psi. So I'd play it safe with the lowe CR and dished pistons. Fastest 998 mini in the world? 13.05 1/4 mile 106mph

Are there any other pistons that will do the same job that are avaliable over here, and has anyone used the dished Hypatec i have read that they are pretty good? |

I use the Aus Mini dished hypertecs, they are fine. Not a perfect turbo piston, but good enough.
