I thought the t2 was a metric thread. Might be worth a quick search. On 11th Feb, 2015 robert said:

i have a pipe in my shed that was used on my old turbo (which i think was a t2) i will get it out and take a pic if you like? |

its not threaded externally, its a nut type of fitting with the tapered fitting inside it.
