Seen a few on pistonheads and gumtree lately.

I want one too but all a bit expensive.

I brought a Woodford new a few years ago. I believe its a guy who worked for Brian James that set it up. It worked out about £200 more for new than most Brian James were fetching secondhand at the time. Something to be aware of that in parts of europe, trailers have to chassis plated for manufacturer and capacity etc. I looked at 'home brew' efforts but reckoned that knowing Brussels it may not be long before the UK gets the same regulation.

Another option is a PRG, this is what I have, twin axle galvanized nice lightweight thing at 400kg, big enough to get a small hatch on as my 205's go on, narrow enough to go through a standard garage door.

We already have this stipulation, but its not so rigorously enforced as there is nothing stopping you building your own trailer.

If you're worried, just make a plate with the MAM on it the maximum for your tow car/trailer unit, or so it is 3500kgs. Can't go wrong then.

That would not surprise me will as it was a fair few years ago that I brought mine. The whole legality of towing in general took some clarification and I spoke to several organisations including the Police to clarify the situation with things like 'A' frames and dollies. Even the Police were a bit vague and said they normally try and ignore them as long as looked safe.

its not just the legality of a home brew effort; I also want peace of mind that while i'm dragging something up the road, the wheels don't fall off the the draw bar snap! I've seen a few shocking efforts through the years!

cheers for all the suggestions; its just finding one that is the issue, not the choice available

King Gaycharger, butt plug dealer, Sheldon Cooper and a BAC but generally a niceish fella if you dont mind a northerner

Rotherham, South Yorkshire

If you get that one, don't let john near it. it will end up stinking of regurgitated lager, sambuka and haggis...

In the garage......again!!

Is it for carrying a mini?

In the garage......again!!

reason i ask is that i may be selling mine if i get the right price, twin axle braked trailer, generally used for transporting ministox so will only fit a ten foot car. Has storage for tyres and fuel tanks (which i'll throw in) recently had a new damper fitted at a cost of 80.00. All brakes work fine.
TBH this is a cracking trailer for a mini, twin axle means good stability.
Looking for offers very close to £600.00

This is the only picture i have so far but if your interested i will take more and email them to you

Cheers for the offer. Ideally looking for a factory built trailer. I'm sure yours would be fine but not for me i'm afraid.

I'm thinking of selling our Brian James trailer. It's single axle with a tilt up tow hitch.

Fits through a standard 6'6" garage door and it's less than 11' long with the hitch stowed.

Complete with large tyre rack, 4 wheel straps, winch, wheel stops, ramps and extension plates.

£1200.

If your are interested, PM me you email address and I'll send you some photos.
