Hi guys,

benn lurking for a little while, though I best post up a picture of the clubbie.

When I bought it off a TM member it was a bit of a shed, to many bodges for me, but i'm slowly getting it up to the standard i'm happy with. Interior has all been replaced, new dash, cage, seats carpets and bits and bobs.

I've rebuilt the head which has been opened out a fair bit, plus bigger valves and double springs. turbo is a T2 variant, seems to be from a peugeot diesel but boosts well, if a bit smoky.

SCCR box and straight drops which are pretty noisy. Might need a bit of fettling (rattly on idle?).

Plans are to rebuild the turbo, get a rolling road done and up the boost a bit. currently at a conservative 8psi.

more pics to follow, when I see daylight again.

Sc drops do rattle on idle. I think it goes away if you press the clutch try it.

Few more pics.

After lifting carpets, applying some anti rust paint to the floors. look nice and solid.

Floors painted, lungs, hands, inside of nose and face also painted. putting down some felt for the carpet, and starting to make a useable dash.

Homemade parcelshelf looks surprising ok.

carpets down and looking smart.

starting to come together

Interior more or less finished.

did you use brush on or spray anti rust to the floor as it looks nice and smooth.
