I want to build some bracing for my flip front. I'm not sure, however, where best to mount them against the front of the shell/subbie towers. Could I see pictures of what some folks here have done with theirs?

Mine bolted on using the front shock top mount position, sandwiched between the top mount and the cross member. I welded the shock top mount to the mounting for the brace and utilised longer bolts. However I used 2mm wall thickness 1.5" steel tube.

here is a couple of mine, very heavy duty and removable the idea was to tie them into the cage through the bulkhead and hopefully aid in crash protection but i never welded in the full cage and touch wood hope not to crash it

be careful doing the passengers side one, as its easy to make it impossible to get the side rad in/out.

Thanks, guys!

Brett, how did you mount your supports against the tub? I don't see any mount holes or nuts there, and it's a boxed in section with only a through-hole for the tower. Did you cut the section and weld nuts on the back side?
