With regard to the RTS Clutch thread do you guys think I could use this Valeo spring for my new RTS clutch?

Thanx Jawd

yep ive built both, you will need a ring of some sort and 2 valeo's ( as you cant mix and match types)

a couple pics from a how too guide i did years ago

notice the thick ring the bolts go through and the thinner 'spring' rings
i think a few have successfully used the thin (2mm ish) rings with only washers

there is a published build guide on here some where too that i recall being rather good ( not mine though)

Hi Brett.
Hmm was hoping to get an AP pressure plate and friction plate and just drop the Valeo in with them for the extra ummpf, but no you say?

For building the physical RTS clutch you have to use 2 of the same type of clutch either valeo or AP
The friction plate / clutch plate / centre spinny thing / or what ever you want to call it can be any make aslong as it fits in, mine is AP race plate
