Decided to check my rubber cones today , glad I did :$

Think they may be a bit fooked !!

Seeing as it only took a few hours I decided to test fit my new cover and its fits a treat ! Yay *happy*

Got home and decided to fire up my bike then a thought crossed my mind .... Suzuki powered ?? Ummm
*surprised*

.
Still not long until my engine should be back then I can fit that before I get any more hair brained ideas !

Got to do the rear ones next week, they have been in there for some unknown amount of time but the fact that they have some red paint on them suggests to me it's since the late 80s or early 90s , this was the colour of the car under 3 other colours !

the old school racers like old the squashed ones as they are harder and lowed but that is reduiclas looks like you gained a good ride height just from doing the front

I have NEVER seen genuine cones go like that!!..... Those have to be the chinese ones that were all the rage a few years back

If they do not say "Moutlon" or "Dunlop" on the side, they are copies

So when some joey comes on here about how his 16v turbo vauxhall is great compared to ours, he can be given the 'bird'...

Do not fit red cones on a road car. Too hard...

What the fuck?
I remember these shity cones being pedalled about 11, maybe 12 years ago. I was tempted by a set, but thankfully avoided them. I remember hearing in the months after about them collapsing - the guys selling them on MiniClassic (amongst other places) lost his arse on all the refunds he had to do.

I think Vegard was getting mixed up with the yellow spot cones which are harder.

No, I personally think the red ones are too hard for a light road car as well.

The replacements are standard Molton ones.

The car only weighs 500kg so stiffer ones would send it bouncing down the road like it did with these buggered ones !
