I was wondering weather anyone had used one of these before or weather this would be a good turbo to use for a 998T? |

No idea. If you can find a bit more info we could have a guess.
Fastest 998 mini in the world? 13.05 1/4 mile 106mph

I was thinking that the 300zx was a twin turbo V6 so it may well be just the job, although I might be wrong. But as Wil says A/R ratios is what you need to know. http://www.twin-turbo.co.uk

I'd check the flange too. Nobody likes to spend their money only to find you have bad flange. On 11th Feb, 2015 robert said:

Pretty sure Matt Argent has a 300zx shaft and turbine wheel in his turbo mini. He may be able to help with the AR of it. If something is worth doing, it's worth doing half of. |

Looks like the A/R's vary (probably different regions of cars)

It's also the one he got some good power figures with for relatively little boost. If something is worth doing, it's worth doing half of. |

He made 160odd at 16psi at the tm rr day, 6k before it reached 16psi iirc Audi s4 b5 - 470bhp & 486ft lbs

That's too big for a 998, you'll struggle to make any boost. Fastest 998 mini in the world? 13.05 1/4 mile 106mph
