So I was trying to do a bit of running in today and the following happend





Luckily caught it just as it happend and was passing an esso garage so ive jumped in there and waiting for aa

AA man put it back together and covered it in quiksteel, im now home and have emailed minispeed to see how they want to deal with this

buga ive been on the road side like this before but that was due to the oil cooler hose blowing out from the crimp while pulling onto the free way whilst giving it heaps of stick it was a huge bang i think the hose hitting something straight away i shut it off and took it out of gear this was quickly fixed up promptly by the company i had make the hoses they took full blame nd came out to me made a new set free of charge there and then had a mate bring some fresh oil and i was going again but they did not want to clean under the hood lol now i wish i took some pics..

well i hope mini speed are good about it and replace the tap but out of interest is the rad cap in good shape? ie not stuck and building pressure beyond normal?

The none OEM ones are crap! I would make a stalk 90deg. And do away with it all togeather
