as above i need help to ID my pistion 1098 +0.040" i know its a 40 over as i can make out 040 on the top but i cant see anything else that i see as helpful

Not sure what they are, but they certainly don't look like they'd stand up to much boost.

Big oil slots and 4 rings will make them very weak. On 11th Feb, 2015 robert said:

ok well that's that this set of pistons will be set aside.. just for sihts and giggles i measured the slots they are about .060" (1.52mm)

The MED pistons are big bore (1275+)

They look like the old 20773 piston, but as above looking at the rings they are most likely Aus Mini sport Hypertecs. Looking at the link below they 100% are.
