make sure it is the turbo that is smoking though and not stem seals |

The engine has been fully rebuilt with new +20 Omega pistons etc and all the seals were done then - just done 600 miles sinec the build and getting fed up of the smoke now, do you think it is worth a compression test? |

Did it smoke before the rebuild? Still could be seals even though they were changed.

I dont know that because the engine was bought and rebuilt but I had never ran it before the rebuild. I ran the engine n/a for a few mins once it had been rebuilt and no smoke. As soon as the turbo was put on there was loads of smoke but it gradually got less as time went on and now it is a constant amount but it gets on my nerves so was going to replace the unit. |
