I still haven't got my video editing exactly as I want it, but you'll get the idea.

These were the first runs on the Sunday (my first go in the car) we went 2 seconds quicker each on the folowing run. I watched these side by side, although I was quicker, all my time is made in the esses, Ben is quicker everywhere else.

The weather was amazing. First thing saturday it was wet with rivers running down the track, but by lunch it was as dry as it could get and baking hot.

Is the grill hole a bit small and blunt to feed the intercooler effectively?

Would it help having it radiused inwards if you get my meaning?

Good stuff though, really motors in the vids!

The hole in the grill has been scientifically calculated.

however, I need to put some temp probes in to prove my theory. Seems to work ok so far though.

'scientifically calculated'. Is that code for looks cool or lucky guess?

Cheeky! Basically I measured the air gap in the intercooler compared to its total frontal area. This gave me the maximum hole size I needed in the grill to satisfy the flow through the cooler. I then made the hole a little bit bigger.

The idea is to keep the holes in the front to a minimum as holes are not aerodynamically efficient. All theory and no back to back tests, but the theory is sound.

looks like its starting to pick up the inside wheel in the third pic - can't be good for getting on the power early out the corners ,
and listening to the sound on the vids seems to confirm this

For a first time out I was very pleased with it. I'm not going to mess with it too much for now. But the development starts here.

To be honest though with the LSD there was plenty of traction, it is quite bumpy there at Harewood so that could explain the noise.
