bit of a long shot but on the sc 5 port engine management kit has anyone used the typhoon programme as im a bit lost when trying to get a signal to the stack rev counter. i think i have the right wire from the aux plug but in the software im bamboozled to hell by what "tach pulse width (us)" means. default its set to 0 which is auto sets to 1200 but again its a forgien language and the help manual may as well be wriiten in morse code its that useless Edited by t@z on 25th Jun, 2012. |

the pulse width is how long the signal is high ( or low) in microseconds μs

Seeing as you have no doubt spent a decent sum, why not ask the people that made the ECU this question?

its not for me its for a friend as i've been trying to help him out on his mini. i think he has asked them the question but still waiting frustratingly. the reading pulsing bret described was actually a million times better than the manual. the stack has 2 settings so i'll get him to check the manual and give sc a call if they dont respond.
