Hi,

a complete novice to turbos and am still rebuilding my 998 for my lad. He is already thinking of more power but want to turbo not go down the 1275 route.

My first question for you all is...

can any T2 turbo be used to boost a 998, renault 5, fiesta etc, or does it have to be a metro set up??

Next one is...

What is the difference in T2 and T3 turbos, is there a T1 ??

You could turbo an 850 if you really wanted to but personal I've always thought it go bang

I'm currently building a 998 turbo for myself, mainly for insurance reasons as having a 998 100hp stunner is cheaper to insure than a naturally aspirated 1275
