Well its only took me 2years too make a start but ive finally started! The car was originy bougt 2years ago from from ebay. Its a studio2 shel,l which hasnt had a ryt lot done to it. which is why i got it, my thinking was there wouldl'nt be a lot of bodged up welding. but as ever it had a nice pair of oversills on.just for starters.lol
Off comes the N/S sill for a look....its actually rotted through the cover sill there is very little of the original outer sill left.

Im a little bit out of sync with things so you'll have to ber with me. The last post was last nights effort. Tonight ive got a little more done, made a start on the inside. I've cut out the N/S rear pocket and cut the bulk of the rear seat off. Only having 2 seats so as in true TM styel all the unnesseasery weight is comeing out*happy* the plan is for a new heritage floorand heritage sill so i can cut out all the nasty rust and hav a good starting point. the shell is fairly solid in the usual place that have normally rusted thru by this point.

I have a studio 2 the same colour, not too many about. I need to restore mine really as I have owned it since it was 3 and it is looking a little tatty now.

Good luck.

That's not too bad. Our Studio 2 was awful:

well after finally makeing a start i was stopped quit quickly. trouble with the neighbours, followed by letters fom the council ment the car had to be moved which caused a lot of issues. so now ive finally got that sorted i can hav another go at starting lol.

This wkend i got the old rusty floor cut out and some bits cleaned up. Going to order my new heritage floor this wk hopefully get it ready to go in. i hav took a load of pics which i will upload in the next couple of days. plus ive got a load of holidays to use up by the end of next month so hope to make some big progress in the next few wks.

in reply to Rob. my plans which are ever changeing. are hopefully a 1293 k16 engine with turbo. partially stripped interior. full cage. something that can be used in anger on the strip or trackdays and something that can surprise people on the street. thats wats in my head but that changes daily. lol. plus seeing stuff that people are doing on here gives me bad ideas. lol.
