Great car but the arches do look a bit naff. Theyve been trimmed up to the minimum for weight. Where have the McNally's gone though? Is that a replica?

Edited by paul wiginton on 27th May, 2012.

I seriously doubt it!

i believe it is paul, the picture is from the cooper day. Think it was 2010 because i was there and remember reading it was a rep.

Weber IDA down draught carb.

The arches look like the old Cosmic aluminium arches, with the fronts positioned right back. I had a set I bought from Racespaec on my second mini.

So when some joey comes on here about how his 16v turbo vauxhall is great compared to ours, he can be given the 'bird'...

It think it must be a rep, I think Vizzard admitted that the old car didnt survive a crash he had.

I run a supercharger and I don't care the TB is on the wrong side.

Just remembered to have a look in the tuning the mini book. His car was de-seamed and had a flip front with some rather basic looking catches. The arches were also blended to the body.

If its 'the car' then its a re-shell at the very least.

Yeah, very rare! There was a set at Bingley for sale which were around £600 for 4 bare rims.

I do have a pair here too, incase anyone knows of another pair for sale!

5.5" and 7.5", I'm not sure what width the ones in the picture are though

*I also have a set of wellers that are a similar style but 6" wide. I mean similar in that they have a similar dish and are solid faced*

That car is a replica, I believe the owner has been in contact with Vizard to get some of the details correct, I'm sure there is a topic about it on one of the forums. The real car was scrapped. The arches on the replica look like cut down cosmic arches to me.
