I am no expert so please don't take this as gospel etc.

I made a set of these myself at work, and I cut the pipework at an angle, where it meets the flanges, so that the whole manifold was slightly tilted. My logic was that the centre exhaust port is then almost facing the turbo port, whereas yours looks like you will require the flange on the lower half of the centre "T" pipe (so as to fit the turbo in, if you don't habe a bulkhead box), if you see what I mean, so the flow won't be as direct?

That is not to say that you want direct flow etc, I had limited access to a TIG at the time and hadn't done much research etc!

i get what your saying. i need to make a small piece of scolloped pipe to go over the existing t piece opposite from the centre exhaust port, then weld a triangular flange onto that at approx 20 degrees off straight. figured it wouldnt make too much difference at that angle.

just had a look at the picture again and i see why it looks straight. the pipes do tilt downwards mind. i took about 10mm off one side of the t piece pipe to angle it down.
