hi all
its taking me two years and loads of work to get this done.
i have had loads of problems e.g i have gone though 5 headgassets, 1 clutch, 2 fuel pumps, 3 carbs, a new t3 turbo, 3 sets of cvs wheel bearings and much more..
i can now say the car is all boosted up and is running 150bhp at 10psi and i am glad i did it its insane
there is a few videos of the car on youtube but none of them are after the rolling road apart from brooklands mini days...
i will be posting more at some point.

This is my first mini turbo I have owned
I have all ways wanted a mini turbo since I got my first mini I just wanted one for the dump valve I am a big kid...
It’s taken me and my dad 2 years to rebuild her and cost me loads £££££. We painted her st focus orange with orange metal flake it’s the first time I have ever painted a car and I don’t we did a bad job. We have had loads of fun with the engine every time I sent it to the rolling road to get it boasted up I got it back broken I think I have replaced the head gasket 5 times now. I have replaced the t3 turbo, the carb, clutch, fuel presage reg, even new omega 10cc turbo pistons. I have had it apart more times than I can remember. The next thing was keeping it cool so I changed the 2 core rad for an MPI front mounted one, then changed the 3 wheels on the side of the engine the fan belt I even had to make a custom bracket to hold the alternator. We fitted a ford rs turbo intercooler with custom blue pipe work and a dump valve of course. I can now say it’s all boasted up and is running a 150bhp it’s insane. We cut the rear wheel arches out so I could lower it more fitted a hi/lo kit with gas shocks, fitted a smoothed boot lid and custom bonnet. I love it well worth the money and work. Inside I went for the classic CORBA bucket seats with a carbon fibre dash I put MPI white clocks in with a Tim turbo gage I have fitted a turbo timer and a flame kit. There is so much I have done and there is more still to come so watch this space ….

Looks like you've done a tidy job, well done. What's the engine spec ? & how come you've gone through so many head gaskets etc ?

just silly things with the head gasket now i have had the head skimmed its all ok now..
