I'm just reading the may issue of mini mag and there is a mk1 in there with fuel injection. The standard MPI inlet manifold has been used with the MPI injectors and two additional ones. I can't quite see from the images where the injectors are but it looks like they are going in from the inside. He's running an emerald ecu and it seems that the secondaries don't have to be used much with the setup (NA), which surprises me.

Anyone got any more info/ideas on how the injectors are positioned - i'm quite interested as I will be using the MPI manifold on my 998. It would be easier for me to modify the manifold for secondaries than make one form scratch when I add the turbo (I know Graham added some secondaries with limited success).

Also of interest is that he is using a golf VR6 clutch slave cylinder - i though this might be concentric, but looks like one that acts on a push rod as per the mini. Not sure of the advantage of this.
Edit: There is a concentric cylinder listed for later models - this could be an interesting mod.

The small picture on the right, page 44 shows what looks like two injectors fitted on the inside of the runners at about 45 degrees. Similar to what Graham has done, but on the inside.

Interesting article, 147hp from an NA 1445cc, 70% duty cycle..............

Is it A-Series only? I think it should be...
So when some joey comes on here about how his 16v turbo vauxhall is great compared to ours, he can be given the 'bird'...
