Is there no chance even a +80 would clean up the bores? If it was me, I'd try and find an A+ 998 rather than spend money on some pistons and rebore. But maybe I am wrong regarding availability of engines vs cost of machining in England. In France, 998 are still rather widely available and machining is fookin' expensive like they give you your parts back machined and gold plated ... Rusty by nature

Con rods are Circlip type yes, the pistons where fitted backwards aswell... and it had all new shells and that in it, But 1275 or new 998 (1060) and turbo it :) Insurance company said i can put turbo in a year after driving the mini on a N/a engine first and it put it up by £150 What is not bad and I work at an engineering company so Machine work isn't really that bad to be fair.

Sleeved on two cylinders seems odd. Have you a photo of the insido of the block?

I'd go down the turbo route. You quite often hear of people fitting supercharges then going down the turbo route after more power, but never the other way around. https://www.facebook.com/pages/Fusion-Fabri..._homepage_panel
