Hello there everyone.

This has been my first project I have ever taken on and its defiantly had it's ups and downs. But I have enjoyed every second if it so far.

I have been working on my mini for about a year or so now.

Just thought it was about time I posted up some photo's of how the project is going so far.

I hope that you all like it and I would very much appreciate any comments or constructive criticism.

Miles

Thanks dig-mini & miniwilliams

Yea I wanted to cage to blend into the interior as much as it could, hence the same colour as the mini.

The black roof didn't get much dust into it as I made the spray area as sealed as possible but I did get a few scratches come through from sanding in the prep work :(

Yes G13B its a universal harness.

Because i've modified quite a few things i though there would be no point in paying for a standard mini loom and then modifying that.

Its turning out not to be so easy to install, just because of my lack of knowledge of electronics. Looking for someone to help me out with it actually.

Once the wiring is done it should be almost ready to mot really.

I'm building my loom from scratch. I don't think a kit like that will be all that easy to plumb in...

Looks good mate,

Just a quick one mate the bolts in the rear half of your roll cage are best with the nuts on the inside of the car. As the wheel could hit the studs that's hanging out.

Simon.

What you on about??? My Mk1 is real! it was rebuild in a time when you could not get mk1 floors that's why it don't have a mk1 floor! but I paid £150 for it so who gives a shit.

Only criticism i have for this is don't fit that great big gay DTM exhaust. They look crap on just about anything :/
But the rest of it looks really good so far!
