This is a common fit in small bore turbos

Sounds good the gear box needs to come out for new bearings any way I found some barring cage stuck to the sump plug! what should I expect from it?

Turbo wise, I guess it wouldn't be of much help recommending the one of a Renault 5 GT turbo (wich is a Garrett T2) or anything from a 100hp turbo diesel car ...

Ho and you can convert any HiF44 to turbo spec, there is a a guide here somewhere Rusty by nature

Is it posable to use my 32/36 progressive down droughft webber? On a draw throw set up With out mods to the carb it's self if I can I only want to buy minamal parts |

For blow through, without building a box to pressurise the carb from the turbo, then no, as the turbo pressure will prevent the fuel being drawn into the airstream, as a guide fuel pressure should be about 3.5/4psi higher than boost pressure. You'd be better off selling the weber and buying a HIF44 turbo carb, job done!

I would trade the Weber for a HiF44 and a better head / head work ... Rusty by nature
