Some of you might remember my mini from earlier in the year setting on fire.

Since then i have been working away on it very slowly and acquiring lots of parts for it. Since it set on fire i have stripped it down and welded up the holes on the bulkhead and re painted the front end, got the sub frame powder coated and put back on.

I will hopefully have the car back together for Easter weekend next year for minis vs beetles

All my carbon bits came today a week late but they all seem to be good quality and fit somewhere near.

Managed to get the old roof cut out and the rear fire wall ready for the alloy firewall.

Also got one of the doors hung with the external door hinges form Carl.

Coming along nicely!

Where'd you get the fire wall from? Have you worked out how you're going to fix it in place yet?

got myself a hole punch and ordered a set of swagers so been putting some holes in the car was a bit bored the other day as well so attacked some of the other metal on the car with a drill lol

Also fitted the engine today was an absolute nightmare went for solid engine mounts as the car will be mainly used on smooth surfaces once it’s complete
