Haha i had a chuckle at the rain comment. It has just over 70hp at the wheels, not really sure how to convert that to bhp isn't it just the hp at the engine? if so why do people like using this? Ill pull my shorts up for you 'Kean'. Edited by bill.b on 13th Nov, 2011. |

No, just a fan of the work. Big fan of the KAD stuff to however we can't just walk down to the shops and grab what we need! you guys a very lucky over there. Sure we have mini shops but the prices start getting a little steep once you account for shipping and crap like taxs.

The other issue we have in OZ is a small number of late model Rovers so we pretty much have to import all the parts. Bill lucked out with this car as its quite rare here and in good shape. We are very much used to trying to track down old parts for our early Australian cars which actually differ quite significantly to the early Brit cars...

Here are a few more pics, i wouldn't mind getting rid of the corpse carpet and getting some fresh stuff in. uni is nearly over for the year so ill have plenty of time to do suspension and interior over the break.

Would you believe I am trying to get parts for a Torana sent to the UK! I know how you feel only in the other direction. On 7th Nov, 2008 Nic said:

i cracked my inlet manifold so i thought id fix it and wrap the exhaust while i was there. Keep the bay and everything around it a bit cooler.

i lost my license speeding so i haven't don't much on it for a while but i got it out and took a few pics with my new camera. Ive been thinking about supercharging it lately but i just wouldn't know what to do with my self, it already pulls like a train now with 115-120hp at the fly.

yes its beyond a joke, i was doing 34km/h over in an 80 zone. I lost it for 7 months with a 750$ fine. I've currently served 110 days out of the 210 days so its down hill from here i guess. |

Hmm to be fair you were pretty far past the limit but thats a hell of a punishment. If something is worth doing, it's worth doing half of. |

oh yeah, i admitted fault straight away however its the fact they treat small scale speeding, 10-15km/h over as worse than killing someone. Its honestly a case of, "i should sell my modified car and start murdering people so the cops will leave me alone". |

Looks like a Rover Cooper - how did it get there? Jap import? Thought there was some deal about not being able to register the later Minis here unless a personal import? On 5th Sep, 2011 Vegard said:

Its a jap import, in saying that, you can register them if you bring them over and they are younger than a certain age and have intrusion bars in the doors. but I'm about to put carbon doors on it so there goes that rule. |
