Bought my heated front screen direct from him. Collected it from him and and paid cash, which made it cheaper than all the usual places. Looks like a nice screen.

He manufactures them, so no mark up to pay. They are the modern type with the hidden elements, not the dodgy monte carlo style ones.

His web site is work in progress. Pm me if you want his email address.

Make sure you use plenty of clear silicon sealant in the window rubber when you install it, as I'm led to believe (fellow Manchester Minis Club member) any water that gets behind the rubber and the glass can result in the heating element shorting out very quickly.

easiest way would be to install the rubber, then the glass, pull the rubber back a little bit at a time and squirt the silicon around the edge of the glass, THEN fit the trim strip

So when some joey comes on here about how his 16v turbo vauxhall is great compared to ours, he can be given the 'bird'...

How would the element short out? It's up inside the screen. If water is going to get in there then it would junk the whole screen as the laminate would separate from the screen.

It looks like a windscreen.... Has a silver strip at the top and bottom. They should be hidden by the seals. You can't see the element unless you really look.
