I bought a Torquemaster inlet off Minispares.

Apparently there were two different size in the past but now there is only one and it is way too big for my 998.

35 mm runners in the inlet matted to 30 mm in the head, that's quite a step for my liking.

Not to mention the extra volume that would probably hurt velocity too.

So I am in the process of building some spacers with the proper diameter on each side, all within the confine of the thick washer wich is 5mm.

I'll use a thin washer on top of a half thick washer on exhaust size so it is level.

I didn't get any discount either, but hey, that's life ...

Any better idea ?

Today I found out my torquemaster inlet is not only too big but it is also :
- too thick in the flanges compared to the Freeflow exhaust I bought.
- the flanges need trimming in width otherwise it won't fit

I still fit it for the time being but I am on the look out for something smaller in diameter because te way I see it, even without the big step, it will rob a fair amount of torque, being so big ...
