Helloo, was wondering if anyone on here could help me choose which head to use on my turbo engine.
I have a 12g295 head and was just given an old leaded 940 with a bypass pipe on it.
The 295 inlet ports look a lot bigger than the 940, I dunno if they are like that standard?
I've would imagine I will get more power from the 940.
My options are
Use the 295 and get it converted to unleaded with new valves and larger exhausts including porting and gas flowing
Orrr
Sell the 295 and get the chambers opened up to approx 28cc and get it ported and flowed and obviously pocket the block which is no problem as the block is already stripped.
Which one will give me the most power output?
Engine will be used almost daily fastroad/ track days lol pretty much everything.

Cheers
Jaffer

talk about starting off with a clean sheet of paper, then not bothering to fucking draw on it,lol

Mitsi Evo 7, 911, Cossie. & all the chavs ...... won no problem

i did a head for wil-h some years ago on a 940 casting with 33mm inlet valve size and 29.5mm exhausts and it made 155 bhp and a massive! 165ft pounds of torque on his 998 turbo T3 powerd
