thought id show a few pics of my mini just after it was done about a year ago before it becomes a turbo. there a couple of things different now like carbon bonnet full cage done in white black tinted windows. also got a set of carbon miglia arches to go on when bigger wheels are bought. let me know wat u think

ive bought an engine off a guy on here 1330 T3 spec is as follows

‎1330cc 5 port turbo engine.

Vmax scart race cylinder head with 29cc chambers to lower the compression ratio.

Forged Omega pistons giving a compression ratio of 7.5:1
...
Lightened and balanced rods

Cross-drilled, balanced and hardened crank

Adjustable Vernier Duplex chain.

Kent MD 286 cam

double grey diaphram.

Electronic distributor with maximum advance restricted to 24 degrees

Straight cut clubman gears,

1:1 straight-cut drops,

Salsbury LSD differential,

3.4:1 crownwheel and pinions

MR2 aftermarket intercooler

Metro T3 turbo

buying the gearbox of the same guy at the end of the week

A 286 is not suitable for a turbo install.

As Wil stated, the 286 is not suitable for a turbocharged engine, super charging and turbo charging have very different characteristics with regards to cams.

Ok I'm guessing the 266 is the one then how easy are they to dial in with vernier duplex timing gear

yep the 266 is a good bet, the avonbar ph2 is also very good, and the RE13T is worth a look.

you'll need a dial gauge to set the cam up, and a protractor (search for the printable TM one) the main thing you need is patience,

Ok I'll look into that then thanks for letting me no before I put the engine in. I finished of the bulkhead today and painted it ready for the engine im gettin quite excited
