I think I remember seeing this in MiniWorld.

It doesn't say anything. I guess the name of the ECU would be the same in both languages though *Nerd*

True, but not being able to read the front page meant I couldn't figure out which link went to the detailed description (if there is one) - I tried a couple at random and just got what looked like how to pay on one and various loan/finance options on another, so I gave up :)

It was built by Brede Alnes of TS Racing.

Featured in Minimag May or June 2007.

Another one of those "it works so it must be good" setups.

What interested me was the fact they have two injectors per runner and have gone to a lot of trouble to get them parallel to each other by widening the runner - they look like standard size injectors rather than the pencil ones your going to be using.

Can't figure out if it's a flowrate issue (maybe high flow ones were more expensive than the cost of widening the manifold and using two low flow ones), or a staged system (but then why put them parallel to each other) or an attempt to aim them at the individual inlet valves and run a "standard" sequential system (ie, as if it was an 8 port).

Strange.

I seem to remember that it was an Autronic ECU which are pretty good and tend to be sequential.

My guess is that he used an injector per cylinder in sequential mode.

I don't recall any evidence to suggest that he had monitored his fuel distribution though.

That thread above started just over 4 years ago..... Long before my time on the forum and quite a while before Jean made the MS2 code fully sequential and siamese variable.

I guess they used what they had available at the time - unless the Autronic had the ability to alter individual timings (like the MS3 now does), what else could they have done....
