Well here she is. i thought i would make a project thread to try and keep up motivation to work on the car. maybe you guys can shame me into doing work, with baby wife and a house its slow going. I dont have a garage or off road parking so the car an hours drive is at the father-inlaws.

here she is before i started work, rot started to build up in a few places - i intended to strip it to a bare shell then pay a mate who runs his company Minichanics to do the rebuilding, welding and painting, shameless plug.

I found a bit more work than I was hoping for and paul at the garage is busy enough trying to keep up with customers jobs never mind mates rates jobs. so i found a replacement at the right price, welding and painting done, all fixed in 1 weekend.

it is a shell that was restored a year or 2 ago but the person didnt finish it so the car never went on the road. it was stored in a garage.

First major Job was to have a look under theoversills.....this never got near the british weather.

both sides full of cornflakes, there was even a piece of wood under there. 1 side will need some repairs to the floor the other is not too bad.

its has the usual go faster suspension and a rear beam which i will try, kept the subframe just in case.

i have sent the parts that are normally chrome to be powdercoated satin black including some allycat wheels, bumbers and overiders.

it will have miglia arch's -- i know most clubmans have them but i like the look, cant decide to do them satin or body colour.

oh and i alsohavethe obligatory engine pic
