i know the person who organises it, a few of my mates went last year. Whilst they were there they had a few problems but other then that they enjoyed it.

he was running a ram pipe with no filter on, so it ended up with grit in the bores and other stuff, and spewing oil out the breathers and smoking alot. And on the way back it broke down, my mate went to undo the rad cap and there was so much pressure that it blew boiling hot water on his face.

I,ve done the Ring in the past, but now that ownership has changed it is more expensive than ever and I doubt that I.ll ever bother agian.

Simon, i might do this.. i have 2 minis now - one considerably more reliable than the other so a long journey isn’t out of the question.

Been a few times in my old Cooper s, would love to take the clubman but just not sure on how reliable it will be, 13miles flat chat is a brave work out... When you need to drive it home again.
