Yeah, only a little whiplash. Took it to a bodyshop that do a lot of minis by me and he thinks it'll beat out ok. I will need the rear resprayed tho. How well does the TDK fit? This seems to be a more and more common incident with Minis. There are not really that many Minis on the road now, but there are a great number of Minis rear ended every year.

I have a mk3 boot lid in my garage, its still in black primer from when i got it as far as i know its heritage or genuine i cant remember if it was the bonnet or boot that was genuine, has a few little dints in it if your interested?? Drives

Regarding the double vs single skin, With a little messing about with the boot lock to elongate it to compensate for some flexing my single skin ones looks totally standard from the outside. I Have not tried it in the rain, however the seal seems to fit snugly.
