I have never had one break but know plenty that have. The very nature of wht it's doing lend it to failure I guess. Fastest 998 mini in the world? 13.05 1/4 mile 106mph

The problem is that you now know that the other one is going to fail at some point. Saul Bellow - "A great deal of intelligence can be invested in ignorance when the need for illusion is deep."

had the font go on my 330d, right in the middle lucky it was on the drive over night, not on the m62! I changed all four.
I run a supercharger and I don't care the TB is on the wrong side.

seen that once before vegard - the platform had collapsed onto the tyre. I stopped the guy driving the car as he was completely unaware of the smoke coming out of his wheel arch. He took one look at it and asked me if he could drive it home - 3 kids in the car as well! |

I blame all the speed humps, they just pop up more and more, a few years ago there were few or none.

common on fords and vauxhalls, what disgusts me though is on older cars it was pretty uncommon, and they had large spring platforms so shoudl the worst happen the spring is contained, nowadays (particularly ford) the spring platform is narrowed, so when it snaps it drops down past the platform, usually just piercing the tyre(just!) but have seen them wipe out the brake hose to the caliper and ABS wire. turbo 16v k-series 11.9@118.9 :)
