Can someone please tell me if I have got this right. I am wanting get my motor running on low boost until I have things sorted. If I remove the ECU and just plumb up the boost solenoid on the fuel regulator, the boost will run at 4.5 psi all day? |

The standard actuator is set at 4-4.5 psi, so to run this boost just completely remove the ECU, boost solenoid etc. You don't need any of it. Your engine will now run what the actuators set to.

No, the actuator needs to be connected to the brass fitting in the compressor housing. Look on the compressor side, you will see a brass fitting with two connections coming off. Connect a pipe to one side and join it to the actuator. The other side off the fitting can be blocked off.

This should get me on the road. Can you give me an idea of maximum boost to confidently run on a standard metro diff and gearbox in good condition. |

7psi modulated down to 4psi to limit peak torque at mid rev range to prevent the std metro gearbox shitting itself in warranty period........
