hi all been signed up for few weeks but been busy to introduce my self. my missus last week gave birth to our little baby girl called mia.so im experiencing all that.anyway im from swindon im 27 im a car mechanic and body prep as my father owns car body shop thats where my mk1 is and my turbo engine i will put pics up later i plan on making it look like a cooper s with the turbo engine,im keeping it almond green but doing a off white roof il update this later cheers ma,by the way this is a great forum and will be asking lots of questions

hi cheers guys ive had a mini turbo before.then went to jap cars,escort cosworth ect now back as the mini parts are alot cheaper to buy then the mentioned cars plus ive got a baby now madmk1 no,s me from another site love his mk1.mine wont be stripped out i want it all loaded lol back seat carpets ect.ive spent a couple of 1000s so far its current state at the mo is stripped down getting some welding and paint inside out ,and underside ive had it a month so far.as i sold my nissan gtr to fund this and some bits for the house il try up load some pics in next hour malc.paul r where bouts you8-)

i heard of tm when i was searching high and low for a metro turbo engine.but end geting a low milage gen one of a private person,im going to be stripping that next week to see what i have.is this right ive heard you cant buy 1275 metro turbo pistons anymore.im going to do a tech list when i strip the engine as i want a 1380 turbo so will let you no how i get on

Im at haydend just off casterbridge road and my mini workshop (parents garage) is in old town, if you ever see a blue 106 with tm sunstrip and random stickers on it give a toot and wave. Where aboutsndo you work then and must be handy for dad owning a body shop *smiley* post up some pics of the project mate

Here is the picture of the genuine metro turbo engine which i paid alot for and here are my new wheels tryes one on 10x6 minators which yokos !!! will put more picture on later when have done some more work
