hi all, right i got my straight cut drop gears installed and engine now running on idle there is some slight chattering whurring noise coming from the drop gear casing i know there meant to be alittle noisey on idle but when i press the clutch the noise goes, is this correct? just wanna make sure some one has experienced this.

yeah....after you go deaf from driving with the whining, you won't even notice the chattering!

i concur, the first time i started up an engine with sc's i was a bit worried, but once under way they sound like a glorious 100hp blender "Turbo's make torque, and torque makes fun"
