Regards inner tubes, they do make things easier with the wide 10's when it comes to getting tyres on, as the well is a long way from the front rim due to the dish. However if you can find a decent and careful tyre fitter you can build them with bolt in valves and seal the rims together, before having the tyres fitted.

What did you use to seal the rims Neil/Tom?

After having a closer look at mine i think its possible to get tyre on the rims then seal the two together then bolt up dont know how good the seal would be though and a cu"t to split again. Im going for fully sealed then tyres on with alot of lube maybe try rims in the freezer and heat the tyres abit see if its easyer to get them on then lol.

im going to get the tyers fitted soon by my mate.

when it comes to balancing them up, do you use stick on weights? if so, do they clear the calipers?

iv got KAD 4 pots with vented discs (7.9") going on but i cant fit them as i havnt got my discs and drive flanges yet.

so if stick on weights are not ok, then will i have to use those clip on types?

thanks

you realy need to be using stick on, and any that need to go on the outside se if he he can try putting them behind the centre on the inner rim,

the wheels will be quite good for balance due to method of constuction,

also note, be carefull not to snag the tyre on the valve inside the wheel, as it will not allow the tyre to drop down into the well fully to allow the other side to drop over the rim,
