Hi all,

I'm selling a 1980 Austin Morris Mini 95 Pick-up.

The car has been restored and has no rust what so ever, it has been waxolyd underneath and paint is in good condition.

Its got the original 850cc Engine in it.

Everything is original on it apart from the seats. So would make a great original car for someone with some work!

Just seeing if anybody would be interested and what sort of price people think.

My mate is after about 6k but what do you reckon

Cheers Chris

Thats about as tidy as they come!

If I had the money I'd buy it.

King Gaycharger, butt plug dealer, Sheldon Cooper and a BAC but generally a niceish fella if you dont mind a northerner

I think £6k is a lot. About 18 months ago I sat on a for sale stand next to an immaculately restored pickup, tax exempt etc etc. He didn't get any interest at £4,500

i tried putting soap on it , and heating it to brown , then slathered my new lube on it

*hehe!*

i imagine there is only a very small market for this kind of car, i think if you can find the market you may sell it for that kind of money.

There's a van on Pistonheads for £6995 but it might take a while.

I agree with maccamcvey, I think that's a reasonable selling price as long as it's at the top end of it's condition.

Prospective buyers in the US and in the land of the rising sun are paying alot more for genuine top end vehicles than £6k so there's your market if you want this amount, you may have to do quite a bit of marketing to earn the last £1000-1500 as £4.5-5k would be a good price for the UK, just look online at the Miniworld and Mini Mag sales pages to get a good idea.

Nice car, bet your mate's gutted to let her go.

Richard.

Minivanless, but reluctantly happy living with the decision. There'll be another one day.

I have seen these going for that sort of money but its getting late into the season and prices will drop, its a very tidy pickup though so best of luck with the sale

i'd be interested but not for 6k, ask your mate a rough price on what he actually wants, only 6 k is well over market price at the mo, let me know what he says, thanks.
