Just trying to find an oil pump for the 998 Ti Stage 2 engine and all I can find looks pretty poor.

I'm looking for a steel backed pump at the least, but am I looking for hen's teeth?

What about an adaptor to make the 1275 pump fit Paul?

If something is worth doing, it's worth doing half of.

Yes, Paul modified one for me, seems to work fine.

You need to drill and tap an extra hole in the block for Paul's, but an easy job for you Paul.

Thanks guys.

Seems like the PaulH option is the way forward, although i don't need 1275 turbo flow rates of oil in my engine. It's just a waste of power and extra heat in the oil.

I might make up an adaptor for a standard 1275 pump.

I'm having a problem with fitting a Turbo oil pump to a pre A engine with a A+ camshaft.

I needed to drill and tap an extra hole and the shaft of the pump needed to be grind down otherwise it would jam up against the camshaft.

Has anyone here also experienced this trying to mount a turbo pump to an old pre A engine?

As the 998 engine is shorter the oil pumps have a shorter shaft. So if you have a 1275 pump it will need shortening.

And as you have found, the 998 and 1275 mountings are not the same.
