Hi there,

have recently decided to change my re-built engine to a turbo charged. there seems to be a lot of praise about the gt17 on this and other forums! but was wondering if the gt15 has been used at all on a 998? using a metro block head and cam etc...

any help please let me know as i have one lying around and would like to use it if I can

chears matt

In short, yes.

I have a GT1544S for my 1098. Wil_h posted alot about the potential for different GT15s. TurboTel used one on a1293. I think alpa used a GT15 too. Theres plenty of material on them if you search

I used a VNT15 from AFN VW 1.9TD engine. The VNT system is to be avoided unless you use an external wastegate.
