I do not believe that there is a sequential gearbox available that will cope with the torque from a high boost turbo. Saul Bellow - "A great deal of intelligence can be invested in ignorance when the need for illusion is deep."

I look at the minispeed box last year. I concluded that it was not up to the job.

I don't know much about these, but I am guessing the gearset is the same or similar to a normal gearset, but the selector is modified in some fancy way. Am I close or way off? http://www.twin-turbo.co.uk

Looks to me like there are no standard synchro hubs and all the gears are a lot closer to the flywheel side of the box. On 11th Feb, 2015 robert said:

I seem to remember Harris motorsport was developing a 5 speed sequential box a year or 2 ago. I bet that would cost a bomb though! On 7th Oct, 2010 5haneJ said:

The 2.3:1 1st gear will be very difficult to live with unless you use a low ratio diff gear.

I seriously doubt it! |

Hi, ive got a pic of the box taken at the autosport show in 2005 (unfortunatley i cant upload it) ,exhibited by the firm who made it for minispeed The gears are in a different order on the shafts with the barrel mechanism in the space next to the pinion . If someone is willing to post the pic i will send it to them ? |

The gears look in the normal order to me, just looks like a standard MED dog kit On 26th Oct, 2004 TurboDave16v said:
