When putting together the engine (for a T2 turbo) I put in the cam from a 1275 I had lying around because I remembered that the exhaust duration was longer and lift was a little higher, so thought it would improve over the standard 998.
However, just looked at this site...
http://www.mlmotorsport.com/forum/index.php/topic,11.0.html
where it compares the standard cams.

My 1275 cam came from a 1992 mini sprite... does that make it the "OE 1275 A+ sprite/injection(50hp) cam." he talks of? (what model of car was the sprite? i.e. at cheap economy level or a more sporty, cooper level?)
If it has the figures he quotes, what are the implications in a turbo application? I would imagine it produces more low end and will limit my high end, especially with boost? Has anyone used one? Please correct me if i'm wrong...

N.B.
My build is aiming for a modest 80-90bhp using a T2, intercooler and turbo dizzy on otherwise standard 998.

There are definately better cams around, but for what you are aiming at power wise it'll work fine.
