Hi.
I have a 998cc mini thirty(1989) with a defect camshaft. I havent removed the cam yet, as my garage is unheated, but i would like to buy the cam now.
Does anyone know what oilpump drive to choose ?
In the old days there was a difference in lenght from smallbore to bigbore. is it the same with a+ engines?

Thanks

If i have more toys than you when i die, I WIN

All A+ are slot drive, that is if if is the standard oil pump it left the factory with.

An MG metro cam (non turbo) are good yes. However the standard metro cam is not so good. The standard turbo cam is the same as the standard metro cam.

Please ensure you get your replies factually accurate.
