The only thing i have seen alloy rods used in was a top fuel drag engine and i think they only ever did one or a couple of runs max before they got chucked. Lovely pieces though.

could always drill some holes if them if there too heavy

I run a supercharger and I don't care the TB is on the wrong side.
VEMS + 12 PSI + Liquid Intercooler = Small Bore FUN!

you can buy loads of different alloy rods on ebay etc from various race engines where they are being replaced. Not that expensive either.

At least those ones have proper alloy caps too !!

202mph standing mile
speed didn't kill me, but taxation probably will
