Dug these diagrams out from a rather handy workshop manual, if everyone is okay with these would it be worth deleting the other carb connection topic?? |

good stuff dan. perhaps you could put some notes on about which pipes to block off when not using ecu or vent valve to. maybe a note advising the use of an inertia switch? and maybe a good diagram of how to plumb in boost control valve.
no longer a series, but still 1.3 turbo.

We're not going to get into trouble for copyright stuff or anything are we?

These look like copies from 'Austin Rover' rather than Haynes manuals, so copyright is probably pretty safe...

I have just read through this bit below, I thought that the idea was to use a larger feed line than return line, thus causing a restriction in the return flow to give a pressure at the fuel reg?

Pipe at point 3: 1/4" or 6mm High pressure (EFI spec) hose Pipe at point 7: 5/16 or 8mm hose. Alternativly, 8mm hose can be used for supply and return, but if this is done, a 5mm restrictor needs to be fitted into pipe 3 (ideally at the entry to the regulator - maybe you can edit the picture with an 'x' or something at this point?). Once again, fantastic work!

so what could be used as a restrictor> could the end of the copper pipe be bent over so its only a 5mm gap at the end? and these measurments im presuming are all i/d

let me just get this straight then, im using an spi tank, and at the mo im using 10mm microbore pipe whichs is about 7mm i/d for feed and return, with the connections to the tank being in rubber hose with 10mm i/d, looking at this they are way too big, should i go with the smaller microbore pipe i have (8mm , 6mm i/d) for the feed and leave the return as it is?
