Seems the right place to post. I have a 3 synchro 998 that I'm starting to build up, I know you're first reaction is get rid of the 3 synchro, but right now I'm wondering where to get a set of s/c drops, meaning idler, primary and input gears. I've been searching, but without much headway? Any suggestions, ideas, have any lying around the garage?

They turn up occasionally on ebay and in classifieds on mini forums.

I just bought a set from Minispares when they used to sell them.

Now, when you say double bushed, do you just take the 1275 bush, put it in, and then machine in the 998 bush? |

Hmm. At current who would you say sells the best drop gear set? And I think the double bushed 1275cc set might be the way to go, as I hope to go up to a 4 synchro 1430cc motor, so I could swap them over. I'm sure my local machine shop could figure it out, as he's a wiz with motors. |

Okay. I'll have a look around then. They seem to sell good parts, I haven't ever had problems with the stuff I've bought.
