Fit a 295 head. A MUCH better bet with that camshaft.

Keep it. If you're fitting a SW5 camshaft, this tells me you're after torque. Fitting a 940 head to a small bore engine will remove this mid range and move the power where you don't need it.

ok.
so it seems that the 295 head is the best to use.
thanks all..
but what about the camshaft and oil pump?
does it need an adapter?

No, the camshaft is most likely slot-drive, and new oil pumps to fit this is easy to get hold of. I take it you are fitting a new pump?

yes,it comes as a set.
i noticed somewhere that states if want to put 1.3 cam into 1.0,an adapter must be fitted between cam and oil pump.
is it true?

Not if you get a 1.0 oil pump.

The SW5 fits perfectly a 998 and the slot drive pump. But it has a high lift which means (in theory) you need harder (dual) valve springs. Swiftune sell both springs and pumps, I've got them on my current engine. Not convinced it was worth of money, will go with md265, 295 and std springs next time

The SW5 only has about 20 thou more lift than most standard cams so could it really be considered full lift? I will be using single valve springs on my 1098T with an SW5

That kind of depends on what size pistons you use
