Righto, Im gonna cut up an over skimmed 295 I have, been meaning to do it for ages, but as usual got sidetracked with other bits and bobs

Will do the usual cuts down the middle of the runners, across the chambers at various angles etc

Does anyone else want any specific cuts?

Cut down the bit where that brass plug was in the face near the thermostat. Would be interesting to see why that was done...

Would like to know how much meat is between the inlets and pushrods

haha, no, its still in the passenger footwell of my transit, its one of those 'next time im in douglas' jobs, plus been in the Isle of Wight for past 2 weeks

funnily enough no, but i did make some very nice friends!

i was doing my STCW 95 course, turned out to be me, with 8 lovely ladies (hairdressers, nail technicians, physios etc) that are going on the cruise ships, that was a hard week lol

err, is the head beyond repair? I mean, there's not too many of those around anymore, even skimmed.

Yes, very much so. it used to me mine. it's been skimmed massivly, right through the oil passage...
