Not too big at all. Depending on use and poer wanted, somewhere between 8.5 and 9:1 is what I'd aim for. Fastest 998 mini in the world? 13.05 1/4 mile 106mph

the design shows a distinct lack of imagination, talk about starting off with a clean sheet of paper, then not bothering to fucking draw on it,lol On 20th Apr, 2012 Paul S said:
I'm mainly concerned about swirl in the runners caused by the tangential entry. |

Thanks, its being used for everyday use but a majority of my driving is on back roads doing 50 odd mphs 90% of the time. I wasnt looking for huge power but i like the idea of having abit of power on tap if i needed it.

Definately! Take a look at Wil's "How To Turbo A Mini In 20 Hours". I think that runs at 6psi on a 998 and its a TM legend On 12th Nov, 2009 Paul S said:

Yeh ive had a look at that quite a few times now. The main thing was, i was concerned about the cylinder walls being to thin.

No need to worry. There are up to +0.120" 998 pistons available and being used on twin cam builds. 998 blocks are the same as 1098s. If there are reliable 1380 turbos then I wouldn't worry about wall thickness on a small bore On 12th Nov, 2009 Paul S said:

TD04 is used for the higher power Saabs over the GT1752 so it's probably way too big. What are the trim and A/R figures? Have you got a compressor map for it? On 12th Nov, 2009 Paul S said:
