Hi everyone,

On my 12G295 head, I cleaned the valves and they are quite pitted (lots of small holes) especially the exhausts.

Shall I replace them or is it no big deal ?

You have them reground...

It IS a big deal.

Big deal is they can disintegrate ?

I'll have to check reground vs buy new because everything is so crazy these days ...

No, they won't disintegrate, but they wont seal. 10% leakage is a 10% drop in power...Do you want that?

Pitt are not on the matting surface and of course valve will be lapped.

I would have fear the small dents / hole might be a starting point for general failure, not that they will lead to leakage.

I'll put pictures this week and we'll start the conversation from there
